Online Test Score Processing

When the “display scores” option is selected during ordering, participants will see their results immediately after completing an online knowledge-based (written) assessment. When enabled, participants may also print a preliminary score report or email a copy to themselves for reference.

Score reports can be organized in a way that best supports local testing needs. If scores are not released to a designated group, the system automatically groups participant results by the test date. This flexibility allows users to:

  • Combine results for participants who tested on different days into a single report grouped by test title, or
  • Create separate reports for participants who tested on the same day (e.g., morning and afternoon sessions).
Grouping selections are made by the Site Coordinator before user codes are released for scoring in the Client Services Center.

For online administrations, score reports are available within two business days after the Site Coordinator releases user codes for scoring.

Paper/Pencil Test Score Processing

For paper/pencil administrations, score reports are generally processed a few days after NOCTI receives the completed answer sheets. Under typical circumstances—and when answer sheets are completed accurately—results are provided within 10 business days of receipt.
